My first experience with designing was in 2002. I got involved with an online gaming site called "Hardwood Euchre" and I ran Euchre tournaments. We had the ability to decorate our tournament pages to attract players. I wanted to be able to make my own pages. I had a friend who wanted to do her own pages as well. We got together and began to search for tutorials for HTML. We found a site called "Web Tech U" They had tutorials for many areas of HTML, including forms and frames. We both enrolled and started a journey to learn HTML. There were also tutorials for CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). I took all the possible tutorials, I wanted to learn the language to make pages. My first page was for my boyfriend at the time (now husband). I had written some poems for him and wanted to share them with everyone. I also put together a page for my family.
